My Story

I am a writer and editor driven by adventure. My journalistic pursuits have taken me around the globe—rafting down the Ganges, hiking the rain forest of Borneo, hot air ballooning over Cappadocia—only to land me in the most thrilling city in the world, New York.

National Geographic published my first travel guide, “48 Hours: New York,” in April 2016. I was also the nightlife and shopping columnist at Where & IN New York magazines from 2013-2016.

My curiosities go beyond New York, though. I spent a year living and working as a newspaper editor in Jakarta, Indonesia, and I'm always researching my next big adventure. My freelance writing focuses on travel, lifestyle, urban life, wellness, fitness, health and anything else that piques my curiosity.

I've been published by National Geographic, Forbes, Lonely Planet, Real Simple, Thrillist, Where magazine, WhereTraveler, IN New York magazine, The Christian Science Monitor, Huffington Post, Prevention, Hopes & Fears, VegNews, Himal Southasian, StyleCaster, Jakarta Globe, Food Loves Beer,, Wanderland and more. Please get in touch with me if you are interested in working together—I love a new challenge.
